"Superstar Pet "

 "Superstar Pet" is Beaker.

Beaker was abandoned by his previous owners and adopted by a new special family. Beaker was hungry, scared and had become infected with heartworms. Heartworms are transmitted by mosquitoes. One bite from a mosquito to an unprotected pet (including cats) can cause heartworm disease. If left untreated, this disease can cause serious damage to the heart and surrounding tissues such as the lungs and blood vessels. This disease can lead to a very sick pet and possibly death.

Beaker's new family, now providing the love and caring he so desperately needed, have recently had him treated for heartworm disease here at Fountains of Boynton Animal Hospital.

Beaker has been a courageous pup. His outgoing personality and ability to trust and love everyone even after all he has been through in his young life has given him the place of "Superstar pet" in all our hearts.
