Dr. Marissa Cuba was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida, and is proud to continue serving the communities of her home state. She earned both her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Florida, graduating in 2023.
During veterinary school, Dr. Cuba completed a Professional Certificate in Shelter Medicine, where she discovered her passion for surgery and providing compassionate care to animals in need. After graduation, she gained valuable experience in both shelter medicine and emergency medicine, further developing her surgical skills and diagnostic capabilities.
In her spare time, she enjoys snorkeling, crocheting hats for cats, and spending time with her husband and family (including 5 cats, a dog, leopard gecko, and saltwater aquarium).
Dr. Cuba is excited to join the team at Fountains of Boynton Animal Hospital, where she looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients and providing high-quality, personalized care for their pets. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, feline medicine, ultrasound, and emergency medicine.
